Travis Hampton, DMD
Dr. Travis Hampton attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where he majored in biology. He was accepted into the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry at the age of 19, making him one of the youngest applicants ever accepted in the program. He graduated from the Medical of Georgia in 1991 with a doctorate degree in dental medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Hampton was selected by his fellow classmates for the Dorothy C. Hearn award, which recognizes personal attributes advantageous to dentistry.
Dr. Hampton has practiced dentistry in his family practice in Covington, Georgia for over 20 years. Dr. Hampton firmly believes in continuing education and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 1,100 hours of continuing education and to pass the rigorous Mastership examination. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hampton enjoys golfing and other sports and playing the guitar.
Michael Hampton, DMD
Dr. Michael Hampton obtained his bachelor’s in biology at the University of Georgia in 2014. From there he attended the Dental College of Georgia, where he graduated in May 2018 with a doctorate in dental medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Hampton spent much of his time volunteering and tutoring; he was a dental school tutor as well as an after school tutor for elementary school children over the course of two years. Currently, he is involved with the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental
Association. He is also staying involved in continuing education in order to provide the most up-to-date dentistry to the community.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hampton enjoys music. He has practiced the guitar, bass guitar, piano, and vocals over the course of ten years. He is also an avid exerciser; he enjoys running, weight lifting, and racquetball.
